🌹Valentines Apple Rose Tarts 🍎


If you’re looking for a show-stopping treat that’s just as lovely to look at as it is to eat, these Valentines Apple Rose Tarts are perfect! 💕


Delicate slices of apple are rolled into beautiful rose shapes, baked in buttery puff pastry and finished with a glossy apricot glaze. Served with whipped cream and love heart sprinkles, they make a truly special dessert for Valentine’s celebrations — or any day you want to add a little extra sweetness.

Ingredients 📝

• Pink Lady apple, thinly sliced into half-moons 🍎

• Ready-rolled puff pastry 🥐

• Cinnamon sugar ✨

• Melted butter 🧈

• Heated apricot jam 🍑

• Lemon juice 🍋

• Whipped cream 🤍

• Love heart sprinkles 💕



Instructions 👩‍🍳

1. Place the thinly sliced apple into a bowl. Cover with water and lemon juice, then microwave for 3 minutes to soften. 🍎🍋

2. Place the slices on kitchen roll to absorb excess moisture.

3. Lay the puff pastry out flat. 🥐

4. Brush with melted butter and sprinkle with cinnamon sugar. 🧈✨

5. Cut the pastry into thick strips using a knife or pizza cutter. 🔪

6. Lay 6–7 apple slices along the top half of each strip, overlapping each half-moon halfway.

7. Fold up the bottom half of the pastry over the apples.

8. Roll the pastry into a spiral to create the rose shape. 🌹

9. Place each roll into a pastry case in a cupcake tin.

10. Repeat until all 6 tarts are assembled.

11. Brush the tops of the tarts with heated apricot jam. 🍑

12. Bake for 15–20 minutes at 190°C. 🔥

13. Serve with whipped cream and sprinkles. 🤍💕
