About Us

trained, experienced and knowledgable

Fundamental Principles

We want the children who attend Blooming Futures Daycare to leave us ready for school with a lifelong love of learning. To achieve this, we are guided by the following 7 fundamental guided principles.

  1. Children have the ability to construct their learning.

  2. Children learn through their interactions with community.

  3. Children are natural communicators, they use 100 languages

  4. Our nursery environment is the 3rd teacher.

  5. Staff guide and support children's exploration.

  6. We document children's learning - valuing their work/experiences.

  7. Parents are our partners, their participation is essential.

Health & Safety

The health and safety of our children and staff is paramount. We encourage our children to be independent and explore their environment, but our first priority is always for their safety.

Secure environment

Our nursery has a secure entry system in place. Access is only given to known parents/careers, staff or pre-booked visitors. We also have CCTV onsite.

First Aid

Occasionally knocks and bumps can happen with young children, so we are always fully prepared to manage any accidents which may occur with us. All staff are paediatric first aid trained.

Risk Assessments

Risk assessments are carried out by staff every morning indoor and outdoor ensuring children in our care can be safe little explorers .

Outings/Trips

We actively involve our nursery in the local community and so when planning to take children to local places of interest we will always complete a risk assessment. Children are provided with high visibility clothing.
